MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III
My first collaboration with J.J. Abrams involved redesigning the Mission Impossible logo for the production, which also contributed to the studio's marketing campaign. We revamped the IMF logo seen throughout the film and transformed a Los Angeles location into a German factory, complete with translated signage. To simulate locations in Italy, China, and the U.S., we used various vehicles and covered multiple city blocks in downtown L.A. with Chinese signs for an action sequence featuring a jackknifed oil tanker. I also designed signs for two different hospitals featured in the film.
