WE WERE SOLDIERS

Based on the book We Were Soldiers Once... And Young, which covers the first major battle of the Vietnam War, I recreated period graphics and military insignia from 1965 using historical photos by co-author Joe Galloway. I also worked directly with survivors of the battle.
